On Thursday June 24th a good friend of mine was taken prematurely in a tragic scooter accident traveling from Samana to Nagua in the Dominican Republic. The next night some of our friends gathered in the Bronx to remember him and to have some drinks in his honor. I brought over my equipment and got to recording a set specially selected and mixed with the sounds Miguel loved, Deep, Dark and Minimal. "Miguel, this mix was made for you. When my 5 year old son heard this mix he said, "Daddy this music sounds sweet." I couldn't have said it better. This is a very sexy deep house lounge mix recorded live during the first hour of my set Thursday nights at Bar Cara in Bloomfield. For this first hour, I kept it nice and sexy.
